"The Green Bay Narrative is original and refreshing. It showcases Green Bay Packer fans and allows them to share their stories with other diehard fans. There's nothing else like it."
"This is a great podcast, especially for those who don't live near Green Bay. To be able to hear their stories about life around Lambeau, to be able to relate stories to different things that have gone on, it's like sitting around a campfire listening to family tell stories!"
"This is a great podcast for fans of The Green Bay Packers! It is fun to listen to all of these stories and to learn more about the players, history, and memories from the fans of the greatest football team in the NFL! I love it!"
EPISODES 1 - 10
In the very first ever episode of The Green Bay Narrative, Wade and I sit down together so we can hear his story. Born and molded in the snow of the Upper Peninsula, Wade became a die-hard Packer fan at a very early age. In this episode, we’ll find out how Wade became a fan of the Green Bay Packers living in Michigan, what a typical game day was like for Wade in the UP, who is Wade’s favorite player, and much, much more. Wade has some great stories that you’re not going to want to miss!
On this episode of The Green Bay Narrative, I sit down and speak with Chad. Chad and I cover a wide range of topics and hear many stories that he’s collected from over the years of being Packers fan. Chad and I discuss how he became a memorabilia collector (his collection is borderline hoarding… haha), we speak about his experiences with meeting many players over the years, his memories of Packers games, and much more. Chad shares some stories I won’t ever forget.
ZAK & ASHLI
On this episode of The Green Bay Narrative, we mix it up a little bit. I sit down with not one Packers fan, but two big Packers fans. Zak and Ashli reside near the heart of enemy territory in Minnesota. Despite living in Minnesota, they proudly wear Packers gear and surround themselves with like-minded individuals. These two cheeseheads also made a trip to an iconic but notorious stadium this past season. During this conversation Zak and Ashli share with me what made them Packers fans while living in Minnesota, their trip to Soldier Field, what it’s like to live in Minnesota during football season, and much more.
For this episode of The Green Bay Narrative, I get to hear Dave's stories, and boy, does he have some good ones. Dave resides in sunny Arizona, but proudly represents the Packers. This die-hard Packers fan takes at least two trips a year to beautiful Lambeau Field. In this episode, find out how Dave became a fan of the Packers, his experience meeting Bart Starr, the work around to getting to watch every Packers game prior to the existence of Sunday Ticket, and much more. Dave had some hilarious stories, some that may leave you in disbelief.
MAGGIE & MARK
For this episode of The Green Bay Narrative, I throw a curve ball at you. I sit down and interview a huge Packers fan AND her fiancé, who happens to be a big time Browns fan. During my conversation with Maggie and Mark, they share stories about how they became fans of their teams, their experience of going to a game in Cleveland, and getting married at Lambeau Field. Mark and Maggie shared some funny stories that are sure to entertain you.
During this episode of The Green Bay Narrative, I sit down with the creator of Packers Memes, now Matt The Packers Guy. During this conversation, which was recorded prior to his page name change, we discuss why made him decide to start his page, what it was like growing up in Green Bay, the time he hung out with Tom Crabtee, and much more. Matt and I go way back, so it was great to sit down and get to hear his stories. I hope you enjoy hearing it as much as I enjoyed listening to it.
For this episode of The Green Bay Narrative, Jason battled the elements to get to my house during a snow storm. He didn't risk his life for nothing. His episode is full of hilarious stories that will leave you wanting more. We'll discuss game day rituals at his bar, his packers Buddha, and much more. You won't regret listening to this episode with Jason.
Duke spends his Sundays preaching the good word, only to go home and say the good words (Go Pack Go!). On today's episode we learn about how Duke became a Packers fan despite growing up outside of Wisconsin, the Packers/Cowboys rivalry, and his first trip to Lambeau Field. Duke's positivity and great perspective is extremely refreshing. It was truly an honor to be able to sit down and speak with him on this episode. Sit back and enjoy Duke's stories in this episode of The Green Bay Narrative.
The story of how you became a fan of your team is always an interesting one, even more so when that team you're a fan of isn't available to you where you reside. In this episode of The Green Bay Narrative, we speak with Corey who resides in beautiful Australia. During this episode we discuss how Corey became a fan being from Australia, his first trip to Green Bay, game day traditions given the huge timezone different and much more. I'm going to also go on the record and say Corey has the best accent we've heard thus far.
In this episode we sit down with a California native and die-hard Packers fan - Curt. Curt and I have quite an extensive history and have known each other for quite some time. Even with me knowing Curt for a while, I was pleased to hear some new/unique stories that Curt had never shared with me. In this episode, we discuss how Curt became a Packers fan, how he got to know players, Packers training camp, and so much more. I think you'll really enjoy Curt's story as much as I did.
In this bonus episode of The Green Bay Narrative, I sit down and speak with Paul. Paul and I have a shorter conversation, but the stories pack a punch. I was going to wait until I had another shorter episode to share Paul's story, but I wanted to get Paul's episode out to the world. Paul and I discuss his favorite player he's ever met, meeting some of Lombardi's players as a kid, his gameday traditions, and much more. I hope you enjoy this bonus episode.
